thoughts from the simulation
Title: Are we living in a simulation? Have you ever wondered? We can code video games to be nearly identical to real life, what if we are a code? A JavaScript created to serve the computer’s purpose? We all go to work, go to sleep, watch television, scroll on our phones — it’s like we’re locked into a certain routine that the code has programmed us to do. But there is one exemption: the outcasts. The ones who want to escape the reality we live in. They are usually labeled as outkasts because they don’t fit into casual people’s reality — they are "breaking the code". You see people tagging walls, or messing around with friends, or egging houses. They are labeled as outkasts because the regular people of code see this as "irregular". Of course, this is all speculation — but it’s something I like to think about.
